PEGAZ HAS BEEN INCLUDED IN THE EXPERT BOARD UNDER THE FEDERATION COUNCIL

 

The World Intellectual Property Day, celebrated annually at the end of April, has a special significance in 2023. Now that a large number of foreign companies have left the Russian market, the joint efforts of the government and manufacturers are focused on creating and developing their own competitive technologies, goods and services that will be able to occupy new niches.

 

In order to develop the concept of technological development and discuss state policy in the field of intellectual property, the Federation Council created an expert consultative board, which included representatives of federal government bodies, big businesses, scientific and expert community.

 

The oil and gas sector is represented in the Council by the Ufa Research and Design Institute "PEGAZ". The company headed the field-specific area in the board, being the owner of the largest package of licenses in the petrochemical industry, which makes it a leader in its field.

 

The achievements of the institute were noted by the Federation Council, which, by order of Valentina Matvienko, included "PEGAZ" in the expert board, which will work on the step-by-step achievement of Russia′s technological sovereignty. The activity of the state body is aimed at achieving high innovation activity of Russian business. "PEGAZ" has been working in this area for years, creating its own technologies and equipment that will form the basis of technological sovereignty.

 

In order to discuss topical issues and develop further actions, a special meeting of the Board on Intellectual Property Issues was held under the Chairman of the Federation Council. First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Andrey Belousov, Head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property Yury Zubov, Chairman of the Intellectual Property Court Lyudmila Novoselova, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Aleksandr Shokhin, Ombudsman for Copyright and Patent Law, Intellectual Property under the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs under the President of the Russian Federation Aleksey Ryabinin were invited to participate. Iskander Sungatullin, Chairman of the Board of Directors, was a representative of the Ufa Design Institute "PEGAZ" at the event.
