In May 2022, an agreement was signed between the Federal Institute of Industrial Property and R&DI "PEGAZ", on the basis of which a Technology Support Center of the 1st level was established.
The World Intellectual Property Organization is implementing a project to create Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISCs), the purpose of which is to simplify access to patent information during research and development, implementation of innovative projects, providing general basic information on intellectual property legislation. Establishment and organization of Technology and Innovation Support Center activities on the basis of R&DI "PEGAZ" LLC is carried out in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding on establishment of Technology and Innovation Support Centers in the Russian Federation between the Federal Service for Intellectual Property and the World Intellectual Property Organization.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Guzel Shangaraeva — Candidate of Biological Sciences, patent attorney, forensic expert in research of objects of patent rights and means of individualization in order to establish their use.
Certified bee-keeper, graduate of the Bashkir State Agrarian University and postgraduate of the Institute of Petrochemistry and Catalysis of the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences, holder of an academic degree.
Certified forensic expert in the field of research of objects of patent rights and means of individualization in order to establish their use, holder of a patent attorney’s certificate. Organizer of national seminars with the participation of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
Co-author of more than 60 scientific papers. Under the guidance of and with the results of scientific research done by Guzel Shangaraeva, such regional brands as "Bashkir honey", "Burzyansky wild bee honey", "Assy" and "Yumatovo" mineral waters, the national musical instrument kurai received state registration.
Shangaraeva’s activity was marked by letters of appreciation from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Directorate for the Preparation and Holding of the VI World Folklore Olympiad, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
Head and one of the founders of the Technology and Innovation Support Center on the basis of Research and Design Institute PEGAZ.
TISC MISSION
- Creation of favorable conditions for members of the professional community in the Republic of Bashkortostan, primarily in the oil and gas industry, to solve problems related to intellectual property
- Advisory support in the creation of intellectual activity protected results as a commercial product for introduction into civil circulation on the territory of Russia, including at the facilities of Gazprom and Rosneft to solve import substitution issues
- Highly qualified assistance in the prompt submission of applications for state registration of intellectual activity results, professional marketing support in bringing innovative products to the Russian markets

- Providing free access to full-text patent and non-patent information resources of Federal Intellectual Property Service
- Providing access to free foreign patent and non-patent information resources (in particular, Patentscope, Espacenet)
- Organization of distance learning according to the programs of the WIPO Academy
- Providing general information on intellectual property legislation, as well as Rospatent regulations
- Training in the skills of conducting searches in specialized databases in the field of intellectual property
- Providing basic licensing recommendations
- Participation in the organization and holding of scientific and practical conferences, seminars and other events in the region on the issues of legal protection and use of intellectual activity results
