CONCEPT OF GPP/LNG CONSTRUCTION BASED ON RUSSIAN TECHNOLOGY

Due to the withdrawal of Western licensors, it is not possible to build plants according to previously developed basic design based on the process solutions of the licensors. Technological opportunity to produce the so-called COLD-BOX (without Vendor‘s Supply Documentation, assembly and operation procedures, equipment at production sites) is not available. In this regard, an alternative option is proposed.

 

We propose technical solutions based on Russian technology of non-expander deethanization of natural gas, which provides the use of 100% of the main process equipment produced in Russia. The technology is designed for creating production lines at gas processing plants.

 

Features of the technology are as follows: the use of natural gas refluxing instead of the use of isentropic gas expansion in a turbo expander, the use of double-flow heat exchangers only, the stability of the operating mode, which eliminates seasonal fluctuations in the yield of commercial ethane fraction, as well as deep cold recovery of process flows.

Highly efficient non-standard equipment for chemical and petrochemical facilities has been developed. Depending on the requirements for the equipment, software products are used in the process of development to model a vessel, justify the structural solutions made for it by calculations, select material design, and apply optimal solutions for a specific situation.

LNG production

We offer a patented Russian technology and supply of equipment for production lines of LNG facilities

 

Features of the technology include:

  • use of a multi-component hydrocarbon refrigerant with a composition optimized for minimum production cost of LNG,
  • stabilization of process flow temperature at seasonal fluctuations of ambient air temperature due to the use of trigeneration system based on ALBRM (absorption lithium bromide refrigeration machine),
  • which makes it possible to achieve:
    • maximum LNG output – average annual liquefaction factor of up to 94% wt.
    • seasonal fluctuations of LNG output at the level of +/- 0.5%
    • energy efficiency in LNG production at the level of the best available technologies – 0.23-0.265 kWh/kg of LNG
    • low capital cost of process units – from 13,500 to 20,450 RUB per 1 annual ton of LNG capacity excluding construction and installation works
