The specialists of R&DI "PEGAZ" have developed a resource-saving technology for producing hydrogen by catalytic steam reforming of natural gas, including optimized systems for desulphurization and compression of feed gas, supply and heating of raw mixture with utilization of CO conversion heat, heat recovery of synthesis gas and flue gases, providing for the use of a reactor-type catalytic reforming unit

The specialists of R&DI "PEGAZ" have developed a concept of technology for hydrogen and synthesis gas production at reduced temperature (750-800 °C) by catalytic steam reforming of natural gas, which provides for incomplete conversion of raw mixture with exclusion of CO conversion, subsequent membrane release of hydrogen and combustion of unconverted residue of raw material as fuel in catalytic burners placed in the catalyst layer of a radiant-convection reactor

INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGY OF SYNTHESIS GAS

WITH ELECTRIC POWER GENERATION

The specialists of R&DI PEGAZ have developed a concept of an integrated technology for catalytic steam reforming of natural gas for the production of hydrogen and synthesis gas combined with the generation of electricity at a gas turbine plant, which provides for incomplete conversion of the raw mixture at a reduced temperature (750-800 °C) followed by membrane release of hydrogen and the use of unconverted residue as fuel of a gas turbine plant and heating medium of a convection-type reactor unit

There has been a concept developed for a catalytic reactor for reforming natural gas to produce hydrogen and convection-type synthesis gas with integrated catalytic burner and air heater, which is a development of convection reactors with an extended catalytic burner developed and tested by FAST ENGINEERING LLC

 

 

AUTOTHERMAL REACTOR FOR STEAM REFORMING OF NATURAL GAS
There has been a concept developed of an autothermal catalytic reactor for natural gas reforming by radiation -
convection with an integrated air heater, and catalytic burners located in the catalyst layer

 

 

ADVANCED AUTOTHERMAL REACTOR FOR ENDOTHERMIC CHEMICAL PROCESSES ASSOCIATED WITH HYDROGEN FORMATION
There has been a concept developed of an autothermal catalytic reactor for endothermic processes with hydrogen production as a by-product (steam reforming for synthesis gas production, dehydrogenation processes of light hydrocarbons, processes for aromatic hydrocarbons production), of a radiation-convection type with catalytic burners placed in a catalyst layer with self-regulating
devices for local hydrogen supply as fuel on palladium membranes basis

 

 

AUTOTHERMAL REACTOR FOR OBTAINING SYNTHESIS GAS OF OPTIMAL COMPOSITION
There has been a concept developed of an autothermal catalytic reactor for reforming natural gas to produce synthesis gas of optimal composition (H2/CO = 2/1) with a radiation-convection type catalytic reactor with a membrane block and catalytic burners placed in the catalyst layer
